The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is happening around the world January 18-25, 2023 and includes the remembrance of the Conversion of Saint Paul.
The Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church (2250 150 Street, Surrey) is hosting this year's Prayer Service on Monday, 30 January 2023 at 7:00 PM and is inviting the various churches on the Semiahmoo Peninsula, BC and in Blaine, Washington.
The theme of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity has been chosen by the Minnesota Christian Churches in response to a call for racial harmony within that US state. Symbols for this year's prayer for unity are water and stone, which are visible and so evident in our part of the world.
If you choose to join us for this Monday evening ecumenical prayer, please bring with you a small stone from your area.
