National Affirming / PIE Day celebrates what it means to be Public, Intentional, and Explicit (PIE) in affirming, welcoming, and inclusive faith communities. This day highlights the full inclusion of LGBTQIA+ and Two-Spirit people in our congregations and in society, honouring diversity, love, and justice.
At PUC, we invite everyone to join in this festive celebration with pie and community fellowship. Whether home baked or store bought, your contribution helps make this day warm, welcoming, and joyful for all.
Newcomers or anyone not yet on our list of bakers are warmly encouraged to participate. Contributions can be coordinated through Judith or Raquel, and the invitation is open to all—because PIE is for everyone.
During the event, Greg will share a reflection on our affirming journey and what it means to live out our PIE values in faith and daily life. Together, we celebrate inclusion, community, and shared commitment to love of neighbour.
