As we come to the end of PAR Month, we want to pause and say something simple, but important: thank you.
Thank you for the ways you show up in this community—through presence, through care, through encouragement, and through the many quiet ways you support the life of this church.
Some of that support is very visible. Some of it is not. But together, it makes a difference that is felt week after week.
It’s what helps keep the lights on and the doors open.
It’s what supports worship, music, and gathering.
It’s what allows pastoral care to happen when someone needs a call, a visit, or a listening ear.
It’s what makes it possible for groups to meet, for conversations to unfold, and for people to find a sense of belonging here.
There is no single way that a community like this is sustained. It is held together by many small acts of generosity over time—some planned, some spontaneous, all meaningful.
To everyone who already gives regularly through PAR or in other ways: thank you. Your ongoing support helps create stability and care that others may never fully see, but certainly feel.
And to anyone who has been considering it—there is still space for you here.
Stewardship is not a one-time moment. It is a continuing practice of participation in the life of a community you care about.
PAR (Pre-Authorized Remittance) is simply one way to do that. It allows your monthly gift to be offered consistently, in a way that is simple, flexible, and easy to adjust if life changes.
There is no pressure in this. Only invitation.
A reminder that generosity is not about a perfect moment—it is about a willing heart, expressed over time.
It’s never too late to begin PAR.

From all of us at Peninsula United Church—thank you for being part of this community, and for all the ways you help it continue to be a place of welcome, care, and belonging.
