10th White Rock Scout Group – Beaver Colony

Building confidence, community, and a love of the outdoors

The 10th White Rock Beaver Colony meets each Thursday at Peninsula United Church, offering children ages 5–7 the chance to explore, create, and grow together.

Beaver Scouts is all about fun, friendship, and discovery. Through games, hikes, crafts, campfires, and community projects, young people learn teamwork, develop self-confidence, and begin to appreciate the natural world.

Scouting’s motto of Sharing, Sharing, Sharing comes alive as Beavers help each other, build friendships, and try new things—whether it’s their first overnight camp, learning basic outdoor skills, or taking part in service projects.

As part of the Scouts Canada program, Beaver Scouts are encouraged to “learn by doing”—building the foundations for leadership, cooperation, and respect for others that will carry them through life.
