The season of Lent is a time for naming what has been shattered as a first step towards healing and recovery. The “anchor” image we are using for this season is beach glass - which illustrates the beauty and great worth of that which has been broken and shattered. Like beach glass, we have been broken and tumbled by the oceans of life, and recently, storm-tossed in the Covid “sea”. We are invited to rediscover the one who finds us washed up on the beach and recognizes our beauty and our immeasurable worth; and then, in turn, to work for a community and a world where each person is treasured.
Our series includes a deeper exploration of one area of brokenness in our community: addictions. We'll hear the personal stories of folks in recovery and explore how we can support recovery work, and we engage in our own recovery as well.

The online worship is available usually by noon on Saturday and people can access it any time after that.
We hope you can join us as we pray for the peace of Christ to calm our hearts and minds in these tumultuous times.
