May is PAR Giving Month at PUC

There is a kind of generosity that doesn’t arrive all at once.
It shows up quietly, month by month—steady, faithful, and deeply meaningful.

At Peninsula United Church, many people give through PAR (Pre-Authorized Remittance). PAR gifts are automatically offered each month, supporting the ongoing life of the church and our shared ministry through the wider United Church Mission and Service.

For some, PAR is about simplicity. For others, it is about intention—choosing to make generosity part of their rhythm of life. And for many, it becomes something deeply grounding: a way of staying connected to a community they love, even when life is busy, uncertain, or changing.

We often hear stories like this:

“I started PAR years ago when I was still working. I never changed it when I retired. Somehow, it became part of how I stay connected. Even now, I feel like I’m still part of what’s happening here every month.”

That is what this is really about. Not pressure. Not obligation. But participation.

Your monthly gift helps sustain worship, pastoral care, children and youth ministry, community outreach, spiritual groups, building care, and so much more. It also extends outward through the United Church’s Mission and Service work.
