As temperatures rise in the summer months, extreme heat can become life-threatening—especially for people who are unhoused or otherwise vulnerable in our Surrey and White Rock communities. You can make a real difference by donating critical heat relief supplies to local outreach efforts.

Your donations will directly support neighbours in need during heat waves, helping to prevent heat exhaustion, dehydration, and other heat-related illnesses.

What Items Are Most Needed?

We're accepting donations of new, unopened items, including:

  • Bottled water
  • Reusable water bottles
  • Gatorade or electrolyte drinks
  • Sunscreen (travel-size or small bottles)
  • Single-use cooling packs
  • Reflective tent tarps
  • Hats and spray bottles
  • Battery-operated handheld fans
  • Personal coolers
  • Granola bars, juice boxes, and freezies
  • Gift cards (for food, beverages, or essential items)

These supplies are distributed directly to individuals living outdoors and to community-based organizations offering heat response outreach and support.
