PALESTINIAN FAIR TRADE MEDJOOL DATES

Help support struggling Palestinian Growers during Lent  this year.

You can help Palestinian date growers and their families by purchasing fresh, organic Medjool Dates. Shrinking markets, irregular water supplies and a lack of free access to their farm land due to Israeli Military Occupation impede these families from earing a livable wage.

Boxes will be available during coffee time starting Sunday March 8.  Dates for tasting will be available.

• Medjool dates are known as the King of Dates and have been grown in the Jordan Valley for more than 6000 Years.
• Proceeds from date sales go directly to Palestinian growers and to support justice work for Palestine.
• Medjool dates are a  healthy, sweet fruit, with a soft texture packed full of minerals, vitamins and fibre. and can be used in both sweet and savoury recipes .
• Medjool dates have a long shelf life and can be stored in an airtight container in your fridge for up to 8 months or in your freezer for up to a year.
