One of the decisions ahead of Peninsula United Church this year is what to do with property. The Strategic Leadership Council (SLC) is hosting two events this spring that you will want to attend if this topic is of interest to you.
The first event on March 11 will be an initial conversation around the options outlined in the Property Option Group (POG) report that was made public last summer. While there have been many informal conversations, we do not have an accurate gauge of what level of consensus already exists within the congregation.
We will take that information to plan the second meeting on April 15. We can only say right now that the purpose of that meeting will be to get us closer to the point of being ready to make decisions. Once we have a better idea of where things stand after March 11, we'll be able to be more specific about the April 15 meeting.
Both gatherings will take place downstairs at the 127th street site, beginning at 9 and ending by noon.
