The Handel Society of Music is extremely pleased to announce the re-scheduling of their Christmas Messiah concert to Saturday, March 25th, two weeks before Easter. Handel's first performance of his masterpiece was at Easter in Dublin, Ireland in 1742. His first performance in London was on March 23rd, 1743, almost exactly 280 years to the day.
The Christmas performance had to be cancelled due to a very untimely, severe winter storm. All those still holding tickets to that performance will be able to simply use their existing tickets for the March performance.
