Maundy Thursday takes its name from the Latin Mandatum, meaning commandment, in reference to the “new” commandment Jesus gives disciples at the Last Supper.
We will gather at the 24th Ave. site for a simple soup supper. During our meal we will hear and reflect on the story of the last supper from John 13: 1-35. We will conclude with worship which includes the washing of feet or hands. The foot/hand washing is optional. If you would like to have your feet washed please wear appropriate footwear.
