At Peninsula United Church, our mission is rooted in love, compassion, and justice. Through our Mission and Service work, we put our faith into action—supporting people in need, standing with those who are vulnerable, and partnering with communities both near and far to bring hope and healing.
Whether it’s feeding the hungry, welcoming the stranger, or standing up for equity and dignity, we believe that service is an expression of God's love in the world.
We are deeply committed to our local community. Together with volunteers and partner organizations, we:
Support food banks and shelters
Provide emergency assistance to individuals and families
Contribute to affordable housing initiatives
Offer space and care for community groups and support programs
Host events and drives that bring resources and comfort to those in need
Through the United Church of Canada’s Mission & Service Fund, we join hands with people and organizations around the world. Our shared contributions help:
Respond to disasters and humanitarian crises
Promote peace, human rights, and ecological justice
Strengthen education, healthcare, and sustainable development
Support Indigenous ministries and intercultural initiatives
