At Peninsula United Church, we believe in the power of partnership. We are proud to be part of an interfaith outreach network that brings together members from a diverse range of faith communities across the Peninsula.
This collaborative group meets regularly throughout the year to:
Share ideas and best practices in community outreach
Foster interfaith dialogue and understanding
Coordinate efforts to serve the most vulnerable in our region
Host guest speakers and learn from local organizations working on the front lines of social justice, housing, and community support
Meetings are hosted by rotating faith communities, deepening connection and appreciation among participants. A shared Facebook and Instagram presence helps raise awareness and promote ongoing outreach programs.
Guest speakers have included representatives from local shelters, women’s support services, and emergency response programs—providing valuable insight into the needs of our community and how we can respond together.
By working hand in hand across faith traditions, we strive to be a visible sign of compassion, cooperation, and hope—creating stronger communities through mutual respect and shared mission.
