About the Shelter Services (Seasonal)
While our seasonal shelter services have now closed, the need for safe, stable housing on the Peninsula remains urgent. Many of our neighbours—seniors, people with disabilities, and those living in deep poverty—have no place to go until the shelters reopen in October.
From October to April, Peninsula United Church partners with the City and other organizations to support two key services:

Extreme Weather Shelter (South Surrey Rec Centre, 10 PM–7 AM, weather dependent – Call 2-1-1 to check status)

Warming Centre (Centennial Park trailer, 7 AM–10 PM daily)
When these services are open, we welcome donations of clothing and time. At this time, we are not currently accepting donations, but we’re grateful for the community’s past and future support.
