Climate Conversations
to live with respect in Creation

Climate change is not an environmental issue.  It is a threat multiplier that disproportionately affects the poor and vulnerable, and therefore, taking action is part of living into the Gospel.   Everyone is welcome to join in our monthly Climate Conversations on ZOOM where we discuss what is on our hearts and learn from each other.  Conversations have focused on topics such as calculating carbon footprints, investing in a fossil-free future, emerging technologies, and the moral and spiritual questions posed by the climate crisis.

Click here for information about our next conversation.

Contact Peter Jones (pjones2570@gmail.com) for further information and to join the conversation.

Refugee Sponsorship
Current Sponsorship

The history of our three founding congregations demonstrates that Peninsula United is a community that cares. In the past your generous donations have allowed families seeking refuge to come to a country of safety and opportunity.

Peninsula United has now committed to bring these same opportunities to a new family; the Bokre’s from Ethiopia and has also committed to provide financial support for the family’s first year in Canada.
