Climate Conversations
to live with respect in Creation

Climate change is not an environmental issue.  It is a threat multiplier that disproportionately affects the poor and vulnerable, and therefore, taking action is part of living into the Gospel.   Everyone is welcome to join in our monthly Climate Conversations on ZOOM where we discuss what is on our hearts and learn from each other.  Conversations have focused on topics such as calculating carbon footprints, investing in a fossil-free future, emerging technologies, and the moral and spiritual questions posed by the climate crisis.

Click here for information about our next conversation.

Contact Peter Jones (pjones2570@gmail.com) for further information and to join the conversation.

Current Sponsorship

We are glad to announce that the Bokre Family from Ethiopia has now arrived in Canada and set to start their new adventure.

We have now reached a point where we require a group of people who would be willing to volunteer, from time to time, to drive the parents and/or children to shopping, medical appointments, recreational activities, ESL classes, and so on. If you are interested in helping with this, please contact Jo-anne at:  jtobeyfisher@hotmail.com.
